Causes Of Female Infertility

Despite the many advances in treating infertility, if the treatment hasn’t worked then you may need to wait a while until you are physically and mentally ready before you try again. It’s true that no one factor is involved as the reason for infertility. It is just as important to know which partner has the problem as it is to know what the couple can do about it when they see an infertility specialist. With about one in every nine couples in America in a childless relationship owing to infertility, it has become a major topic for discussion.

Normally, most couples will wait for year and if the woman hasn’t been able to conceive after that time an appointment will be made to see the doctor and both partners will have a full medical to try and find the reason for the infertility.

Many older women convince themselves mentally, after listening to or reading misleading information that they are to old to conceive. This mental state often affects couples when they become certain they will not conceive and it destroys any chances of them conceiving.

Causes Of Female Infertility...

There are occasions where women who have already had one child find they cannot get pregnant again even after trying for a year and this is called Secondary Infertility. For men, the common fertility problem is usually to do with the sperm itself. This is often caused by high levels of oxidative stress and it creates a problem with the sperm quality. The answer is to reduce oxidative stress and improve the sperm quality, similar research has shown.

Fertility can also be enhanced by the use of natural vitamins and supplements to improve the overall health of the body and it won’t harm any infertility treatments you are currently undergoing. Fertility treatments and other procedures are expensive and cannot guarantee success so the small cost and definite health benefits of supplements and minerals makes it all the more worth while. Another treatment that has been known to help is acupuncture by reducing the stress levels that can be associated with infertility.

Some medical insurance companies may try to deny your fertility treatment costs but you can argue that it is a legitimate medical procedure and should be covered. If your insurance company just won’t cover it, the good news is that infertility treatment, like most medical procedures is tax-deductible.
